When we had a 25 foot 5er (very half-ton towable) and looked for a replacement I fussed and complained for years about the lack of truly light half-ton towable 5th wheels in the 25-27 ft. range. Probably nothing has changed. There were a few companies making them but the dealers seldom stocked the smallest units; usually just the next size up, 29 ft. and more. Go on-line and research what the specs are for all companies and, of course look for used. One I recall was a Springdale about 27 ft.
