As stated, RV A/C units will only cool to 20 - 25 degrees cooler than the outside air. That being said, most RV A/C units leak a lot of cold air decreasing efficiency. If you take off the cover, where your filter is, the unit is separated between warm air intake, and cold air output. These areas are usually not sealed well, and the warm air is mixed into the cold. Get some silver tape, and seal these compartments well. Also, check the connection to the vents. Good Luck!
