OK, this wasn't supposed to turn into a novel but I'll update what I know, what our plans are then we'll unless I end up in the hospital we'll call this "case closed"
I finally convinced the nurse to have another doctor look at my results. It took a day and a half but I was told the echo was good and I was not having any afib during any of the 3 days I was wearing the halter monitor. I was skipping a beat here and there but he felt that could be just the way my heart works. I can't feel skipping or the afib either. The "doctor" felt all was good and that my vacationing doctor wouldn't need to see me.
Well, I guess I'll just get on with my life and see if the few other symptoms continue to lessen and hopefully go away.
We left this morning for parts unknown so I don't know where Labor Day will find us. I hope to find a park wherever we are tomorrow but we're lucky that we can boondock in comfort tonight.
Thanks again for all your crossed fingers, thoughts & kind words. Hugs and happy holiday, Di
