In my previous toy hauler, the floor was insulated with fiberglass. I don't know how effective it was as insulation but it was great at wicking up water and holding it. When I noticed a depression in the floor, I removed the vinyl and was able to remove by hand great gobs of wood fiber that used to be plywood. The pink stuff beneath was drenched. I removed about 6' x 3' that was moldy and rotten. Traded it after that repair.
