my 34 ft one has a 1/2 slide for the dinnette couch table. What I love about it is on a long travel if we stop for a 4-5 hr sleep at a truck stop or wherever, we can slide it out, and kiddo has a bed to sleep.
I bet they could make a shorter one with a slide but like Dirt said, it then adds weight and more people with smaller trucks would be put out of buying--maybe??
