Sold the fiver! Uh oh!

We have been in the market for a while but were dragging our feet a bit. Our son who is 18 months needs his own room now but, frankly, we are not looking forward to the buying process for a new rig. All that changed when I accepted a fair offer on our rig about 3 hours ago! If all goes thru we become homeless on Sunday ;). Guess Quartzsite is out of the question.

Time to find an Open Range 427bh in our price range. Looks like there are a few in Texas wonder what delivery to CA costs.

    Buyer backed out after giving me the whole "word is my bond" "I am a handshake kind of guy" run around. Works out better for us since the deal was way to good in his favor. Oh well it was a good excercise. Less than 18 hours I had already found the new rig at a great price; nothing like a fire drill to get you thinking.

    Hope yer kiddin' about the "no place to stay" part- the worst place for a buyer to operate from is desperation. Salesmen can smell that a mile away, as we found out one time on an extended trip during which our truck blew up.
