Solid counters
Looking at a Jayco that has an option for solid kitchen counter tops. My question is, is it worth the $1,000+ cost and the small weight penalty? I can think of other options I'd rather have for that...

For that less than that price, you could find a custom counter top contractor to furnish and install Corian or any other solid surface of your choice. It's not much square footage of counter top in these rigs. Good luck!
