Solid counters
Looking at a Jayco that has an option for solid kitchen counter tops. My question is, is it worth the $1,000+ cost and the small weight penalty? I can think of other options I'd rather have for that...

We have a solid surface in ours, it's a dark color and shows a few scratches. We are pretty careful in its use. There are some very nice looking laminates out there but you are limited to what the manf installs. Bottom line, go with what you like best
