- ChooChooMan74ExplorerFrom RI to Points south, especially VA south, I like to take 78 to 81. Then, if I am going to VA (Kings Dominion), I would cross over on RT 17 to Fredericksburg. For me to get there, it is 95 to 287. For you, maybe 84 would be easiest to get there???
- IvylogExplorer IIIAssuming NH to Fla and even though it's 100 miles further than 95 most of the way, I'd use 81 to 77/26 to 95 in SC. This gets you around the big cities and some tolls.
- IdaDExplorerI've been on that road from NC to Florida a bunch of times and I don't think it's particularly stressful as far as interstates go. Now I can imagine further north it could be a lot more stressful through the more populated areas. You could cut over to 81 up north and then cut back to 95 once you get south of DC - there aren't any real big metro areas you have to deal with until Jacksonville, which is pretty easy to navigate around on the beltline freeway that circles around the city.
- RoyBExplorer IIthat would not be US1/US301 for sure hehe... Other folks like to take US17 for a more scenic view...
Alot of the truckers like to use I81 but it ends in TN at 140...
I would take I95 and use the bypass around the major towns along the way...
