3M weatherstrip adhesive in a tube from auto parts store; made for this.

Same issue here.

What did you use as a sealer to hold the D gasket back on the track? I can't get anything to stick to the new rubber.

Go to an auto supply store and get SIL-GLYDE it is a silicone lubricating compound, stays put, water repellent won't run or melt, prevents freezing harmless to rubber. prevents weather weather from sticking. try it it's great. Thanks

Well the other 2 slides D gasket along with the first replacement put on have failed.

The rubber manufacture, BOYD, came back with a vary length list of products NOT to use.

The only recommended items were LYSOL (any flavor) 409 and dish soap.

Well Thanks to one Jeffery Holmes at Cedar Creek customer service who pursued this issue for over 3 months, we now have all new seals installed.

We have been told there was a change in the formula used in manufacturing.

I saw a video that says to use baby powder and you won't have this problem look it up on u tube.

Ours is doing it too.
