Saw the other similar post but I am actually asking about space heaters for the garage. I have 2 boys aged 12 and 9 and a 12 foot garage in my 2014 Voltage with one heat vent. Have not camped with it ...

Do read the label. For years ALL had tip over switches which IMHO is a MUST in the small confines of an RV with dogs or kids.
BUT
URL has now allowed these space heater manufactures to make them with OUT tip over switches!
What they are allowed now is: when the heater tips over it will shut off when it reaches a certain temperature providing it tips over on the front to reach that temperature, which means it will catch something on fire BEFORE it shuts off.
I found only 'one' heater week at walmart that still incorporate a tip over switch. :( I use any heater that is ceramic. IMHO the safest.
