I think a lot of people are overlooking that this is the Toy Hauler forum. When you're camped out in the middle of nowhere, hopping on the wifi and having the Brown truck deliver the replacement parts to your camp just isn't an option. In some cases, having something break means driving hours into town to embark on a scavenger hunt (rarely a well outfitted town). Other times it means packing up and cutting the trip short (sucks!). One time we had a bad enough breakdown (luckily covered under warranty) that I had to leave the trailer at camp, take the family home, and then dispatch the factory to meet me out at camp with a flatbed so they could haul it back to Santa's workshop.
I don't fault anyone for carrying some extra stuff, especially if it's a part that has already failed before.
