I check the spare tire on the fiver and on the truck. I learned the hard way, well almost, when a 1 yr old valve stem failed on the truck's rear axle while towing and the spare tire only had about 40 psi. Fortunately the event happened at a truck stop and I quickly added air. Now I make it a point to check both spares.
