Speed is not your friend
This guy passed us in a 75 MPH zone and we were doing about 4 over. This was about 5 miles further down the interstate.

- No end to stupidity. Not an RV, but had a guy pass us towing a large heavy boat on a dual axle trailer on a narrow 2 lane road with no shoulders. I was only doing about 65 (speed limit 70) but he passed me far in excess of that. After he got about a hundred yards ahead smoke started billowing out of one of the trailer tires. Then weaving. Then rubber, then sparks. Fortunately he kept it in control. He had to pull off on a sharply sloping grass shoulder. Normally I would stop to help someone. But there was no place to safely stop with our 5er. I figured he deserved to work it out for himself.
- Certainly glad everyone is OK, but what was the driver thinking? Towing a RV over 80 mph? He got what was an expected outcome.
