On properly maintained ST tires out of two sets from different manufacturers I had a 50% failure rate with 3 blowouts (two on tires less than 1-1/2 years old) and 1 knot(caught on a stop over). The three blowouts caused camper damage which required putting it in the shop for repairs.
Since I converted to 16" Michelin XPS LT tires four years ago I have not had a single blowout or flat.
