Maybe you should start being more careful with your blanket statements.
I know of two RV trailer manufacturers that are using Michelin tires -one of your pet brands - as what you call OEM.
Airstreams and Mobile Suites.

X2. My new (2007) Hitchhiker came with Uniroyal Laredo LT 16" tires and 6 years later there is virtually no discernible wear. Tread is good as new and sidewalls appear to be in good shape, at least what's visible. I keep them at max pressure (80 PSI).
