My 5th wheel RV trailer weighs 11000 to 11400 lbs depending on how long were going to be gone and has 5200 lb axles. I keep BFG Commercial T/A LT215/85-16 E at 2680 lbs per tire on this trailer. This set has around 48k miles and is the 2nd set. Ran the 1st set for 55k miles. No issues on either set. I will be going with new replacement BFG Commercial T/A 2 tires later this summer.
I also have three other heavy GN trailers that I keep LT235/85-16 E tires at 3042 lbs capacity on them.
One of them has the new Cooper HT3 commercial application tire which replaced the discontinued SRM II.
The tires above are a fabric carcass tire with steel tread belts.
As others mention the R250/XPS have a all steel ply carcass.
I see the Bridgestone Duravis R500 is used by many commercial haulers/stock haulers websites.
