It is a little strange that the GVWR is 12,950 and has 5K GAWR. That would give you 10,000 capacity on the axles and would be 2950 pin weight to max GVWR. That would mean a 22.8 percent pin weight.
So you sure you read and/or post the correct numbers?
The last year I can find for the model in 2004 and it states GVWR as 12500 lbs.

Yup, those are the correct numbers. Can't explain it. Without looking up my slips, believe my real world pin was around 2200.
