Then they may in fact "have a reputation", and may even be "big" but they don't know much about tires or making money selling them, or even how to offer a correct product line for their customers.
I have LT tires put on my trailers at both a Good Year store, and just the other day I had LT tires installed on one of the horse trailers at a large Ford dealership shop. No problem.....these shops get the tires I ask for, mount them and balance them. And the cashier takes my money. What a concept.
Liability issues....... My Goodyear store will not do it. I could possibly go to a fly by night tire store & get it done ??
Try a GY Wingfoot dealer. Not sure what GY LT you want, as not many use Wrangers anymore.
If you are installing tires the equal or exceed GAWR no dealer should not sell you the tires. Chris
