I agree with Rincon and valhalla - there are to main issues, side-to-side and fore-aft movement. One can also consider the up-down bouncing movement if you are not using stabilizers of any kind. I like the locking arms for travel trailers, and either the locking arms or the pin box tripod for fivers. I'm in a fiver right now and the tripod just about eliminates the fore-aft movement, and makes the bedroom rock stable.
The rear stabilizer jacks in my opinion helps the side to side (and of course the up-down), but in my rig which is a single motor driving both legs, it helps the bounce but does not do much for side-to-side. The Bal arms would take care of that.
