Stealth Toy Hauler
Just joined this Forum... I purchased a 2011 Stealth Toy Hauler brand new in 2012, just a little over a year ago. I am at my wits end with having to take this unit back to the dealer for warranty work. The list:
-Sewer Drain manifold was piped backwards from the builder (2" drain for Black Tank, 4" drain for Gray) Factory piping is black, repair shop used white...
-Water heater leaked (repaired)
-Stereo came on by itself, killed batteries (2 trips to get this fixed)
-Left front corner jack was almost impossible to lower or raise (2 trips to get this fixed)
-Generator leaked fuel and would not run. (repaired)
-left rear latch loading ramp froze and could not be turned (replaced)
-Generator failed again. Would not start (repaired)
-Generator would start, run rough until warm, would not provide 120V to the trailer (been in the shop for the entore month of July to present)
-Handle and valve stem for gate valve to drain black water tank fell out leaving us unable to drain black water tank. (repaired)
-could not tune stereo to any stations. (replaced again I believe 4th unit ?)
-all 4 tires are worn to the wear bars with less than 5000 miles.
This cant be normal... has anybody else had this type of proplems with Forrest River ? Some of these things are pretty minor but I paid good money for this thing. They have repaired everything up until now but if things keep going in this manner I am holding the checkbook once the warranty runs out.
