Thanks for all the responses. To answer a couple of questions, I have Dexter axles rated at 6000 each. Last time I got an actual weight I was just under 9000 on the trailer itself. One of the reasons I picked the trailer was that there was that there was a lot of headroom between the empty weight and the GVWR. Of course I have a one ton truck to deal with all the pin weight.
The info from Sunnybrook would be more helpful if it listed some accurate wheel information. It states 6 lugs when in fact it has 8.
I ran china bombs for 5 years before upgrading to Michelin's and have never had an issue with a tire. I'm pretty careful with inflation and rarely exceed 63 or 64 so I'm either lucky, or I don't put too much stress on tires.
I haven't had much luck locating wheels that match locally. I can find some that look close online. My concern at the moment is the center opening and the offset. Most of them have a 4.9" opening which is exactly the size of my dust caps. Also a negative 8mm offset which may or may not match my existing wheels.
In any event, I need to pull the trigger soon if I'm going to get any more camping in this season.
