My Mobile Suites storage bins have a combination of key locks and barrel key locks. You must relock the locks in order to get the key out. It is a PIA to have to keep locking and unlocking the locks going from bin to bin. Any solutions? Thanks.

Yes, leave them unlocked. In 7 years of fulltiming we have never locked the compartments.It really is safe out there.

Are you the original owner? If not, the previous owner may have changed out the locks to those you have now. Post this on the Suites owners forum for other owners who have the same rig. www.suitesowners.com

With barrel locks, you cannot remove the key, unless the lock is indeed locked. I found that I could lock the barrel lock while the door was open, remove the key and gently lower the door so it appears closed and locked. Before we hit the road, all cargo doors are closed and locked properly.RegardsGemstone

We have the barrel locks that I installed also...I simply filed off the keyway (bump on outside of key). This allows the key to be removed, whether it is locked or unlocked.
