Storage under front

Hello all,

Has anyone done any special racks, basket, built ins or slides under the front storage and storage under overhang? I am looking to build a cabinet to hold my tools (drills saws etc) and was looing for ideas.

Under the front storage and under the front overhang? Do you mean other than the basement? Could you elaborate a little?

I put a 3 drawer plastic chest up front.

My front storage area is the perfect height for 2 stacked milk crates. Have about 6 sets in there. All sorts of smaller things in each. My pass-thru storage area contains the longer stuff.
