Nice one. Just wondering, what are those pads on the basement slideout tray for? Extra bed down there?
Know the feeling having to wait all winter. Bought ours used in November 2006 near Austin, TX. Put it right in storage & did not see it again till 6 months later April 2007.
Brought our dream boat in December 1999. Put it straight into storage till the following May. At least with the boat I could see it & touch it through the wait to use it.
That is actually vinyl skirting that is custom made for the trailer. You are very fortunate to live in a climate to not know what that is for!
We have been told that the original owner bought the trailer with the intention of living in it in Northern Alberta while he worked on the oilfields and had the skirting made. Supposedly that didn't work out and the skirting was never used; I will confirm that when I get there. I certainly like the fact that he used the existing trim screws to mount the skirting hardware rather than making a ton of penetrations into the fibreglass side walls. I will likely remove all of the hardware and see if I can sell the entire skirting package because we will not use it.
Yes, it will be a long wait until we can actually pick it up. We are convinced it will be worth the wait for a good quality unit, and we didn't spend $80-90k to get it!
