Our dog, bless his little soul he is almost 13 and approaching end saved our bacon once. Let me say he is the best dog we ever had the privilege of taking care of but he is a bit of a ding ding. The kind of dog that would forget to poop if you didn't tell him to go back out on **** and just in general not the brightest animal, but what he lacked in brains he more than made up for in love and heart.
Anyway, we were parked and about to dump the black. Closed the grey, we kind of forgot about it.
Showers, life etc. We were running a huge load of cloths, dishwasher and I was shaving in the half bath. Lots of water being used.
Ding dong is in the back of the RV and we can hear him make this subdued growl and a kind of "WTF" woof every so often. We figured he was just having an episode and sort of ignored it.
Well few minutes later he starts all commando barking and growling. We obviously get up to go look at whatever he found and there he was barking at the soap suds and water pouring out of the shower in the master bath in the back of the RV.
Mutt paid dividends that day for sure. We manged to catch it early and before any major clean up but if he wasn't there or didn't notice we likely would of left for the day and came back to a mess as the washer was just getting started.
Good old dog. Going to miss him, that bugger takes up a lot of space.
