Stupidity leads to overflowing Grey Water inside trailer

This question is an admittance to stupidity but I blame it only on myself. Last weekend we were getting ready to wrap up a weekend, load and go home. I wanted some extra water in the grey tank to help...

Before pulling out from under a 5er "OPEN" the tailgate. At least the landing gear was down and only had to replace the tailgate. 8 years two 5ers and countless setups and tear downs before it happened. Not a good feeling starting a 5k mile trip.
