We have bought two brand new RVs in our years of RVing. Both were consider mid-level units. Both held up to at least once per month use with several 1 to 5 weeks trips each year. The first one was a TT we sold after 16 years and we still have our 20 year old 5th wheel.
Structural problems weren't a problem with either one. A couple of minor issues (which occured after the units were over 10 years old) but no trip stoppers.
I do regular preventative maintenance which I feel goes a long way in stopping problems.
