After having two new trailers in a row which were not worth the %$^#* they were built with my newest trailer has very good bones. Excellent chassis, shocks and tires, aluminum framed walls and well built. Yes, it is 2000 pounds heavier and only 2 feet longer but on this new one when I clamp down my Andersen hitch it doesn't squeeze the frame closed. Both trailers had 2X2 framing for bed and couch - old trailer also had knot holes in the wood that broke as soon as you sat on it. You have to do your research to buy a trailer these days as there is a lot of junk out there.
