How many of you use the surge protectors .And how many time you wish to have one when the problem occur.

We spend the summer at an older RV part in Colorado. We had a lot of wind and some trees went down one on a major electric line. Over the time of several days they had to shut us off and then it would come back on after awhile. I was glad I had the surge protector.
