How many of you use the surge protectors .And how many time you wish to have one when the problem occur.

I have the SurgeGuard 34730. I will never again plug in without it or some other similar form of protection. I have discovered numerous problems at different pedestals, the most common being low voltage. Low voltage KILLS appliances over time, if not sooner. You will see many people who say " I've been hooking up without one for thirty years", but they don't tell you how many air conditioners, microwaves and other electronics they have had to replace in that time and they have no idea how long the appliances lasted for the second owner of their RV.
For the (relatively) low cost of an EMS, it is a no-brainer -- don't leave home without it.
