Hi all does everybody use a surge protector, plug in type or factory installed. Thx.Tom

Good catch you guys. You are absolutely correct. I own a Progressive INDUSTRIES portable EMS unit. And yes, I check out my friend's hookups before they connect so they don't wind up with damage to their system from incorrectly wired pedestals
