They don't bounce too badly when loaded since they have rudimentary suspension. I had no issue with wheel bearings but only had it about 4 years and maybe 20,000 miles.
Actually the one I had could have the wheels locked under the trailer so it could be set upright against the wall without blocking if so desired. I just left it hooked up to the 5th wheel.
