I guess I must be suffering from OldTimers disease. I spent 7+ years full time and saw MANY 5ers in the parks & WalMart's I stayed in. I remember seeing quite a few notched tailgates and a lot of rigs with no tailgate. As much as I try I do not remember seeing people pulling a 5th wheel with the factory tailgate in place....
