Factory gate stays on. Locking tailgate and locking roll type tonneau cover lets me carry things in the bed securely when not towing.
Hose clamp on tailgate pin with tightening screw turned in least accessible direction and a dab of epoxy on end of hose clamp screw makes stealing my tailgate difficult at best.
