Like Dutchmansport said it is REALLY important you get rid of the cheap 50ft cable and get a high quality shorter 25ft THICK RG6 cable you have to remember the cable on these are used for Power and signal when I first got mine I almost returned it to Camping world IT SUCKED then I called Dish and they told me to switch to the shorter high quality cable and now it WORKS GREAT!!! the 50 ft cable may work for some because they are close to the Equator down South and get a better signal than a lot of us up farther north
