Texas registration for TH
Was anybody OVERWHELMED with the cost of registration for their TH in the state of Texas,like I was? What the Heck????

Seems a bit high to me...
I just did the Texas annual registration on my 43ft 18,000lb GVWR triaxle toyhauler in April and it was $125.50. Here's the details straight from the DMV receipt:
PLATE STICKER: 110.00
CNTY ROAD BRIDGE ADD-ON FEE: 10.00
CHILD SAFETY FUND: 1.50
AUTOMATION FEE: 1.00
MAIL IN FEE: 1.00
Electronic Processing (NON-REFUNDABLE if Tax Office Declines Application): 2.00
Subtotal: 125.50
Total Charge Amount: 125.50
As a side note, the reg on my truck was 126.50 but I was shocked at how cheap the annual inspection on it was the first time I did it. It's an F-450 Diesel and cost $12.00. Heck, my SUV costs 40.00...
