Don't move to Arizona - have had our TH for 5 years and this year it went DOWN to $456 for the year. Last year it was $537 the year before that, $640 and before that it was up exponentially. Our first year tabs were over $800! The tabs on my 2012 RAM this year were $637.99
Oh yeah, we pay state income taxes too.
Enjoy Texas...
Same for Colorado! I was paying over $250/yr on my 6 year old trailer. My new 2012 F350 was $1200 for tags, then $1000 and last year was down to $850. Heck, for my 14 year old snowmobile trailer I have to pay $50/yr... Colorado is all about the fees! - akcooper9ExplorerI have a Permanent Trailer Issue tag on my toy hauler so when I moved to Texas, I didnt register it Texas :)

- Ric_FlairExplorerNo State Income Tax in Texas.
I'll take the higher fee to register cars and trailers vs. the state confiscating a chunk of my income, that's for sure. - bob_nestorExplorer III

Your right that is a shocker....
Yeah, but unlike Oregon here in Texas we don't have a State income tax that says take 10% of what you paid the Feds and send it to Salem. Some things we pay more for, a lot of things we pay less for and in the end it works out for the best.
As I recall, when I first moved to Texas from Michigan and when I moved back for the second time from Oregon it seemed like I was getting a 10% raise even though I had the same salary. - EskimoExplorerOurs was only $67.
