If you are a hunter be sure and take a couple guns and do a little pig hunting while you are there. A TX hunting license is cheap and no tags required.
Make sure you have really good tires on the truck and trailer. It will be hot!!!
If you can find a shady spot to camp you will have a much easier job keeping the rig comfortable inside but even then it will be tough!!!
