If at all possible, run the AC in the RV while driving. It's going to get hot in there during the day. Anything chocolate, soft, or waxy will melt. This included the label on the back side of our TV remote. It made a nice sticky little mess to clean. Our grasshopper cookies were all stuck together. The instant coffee turned into a brick. The power bars melted to pieces. Candy stuck together. Soda cans looked iffy.
Do squeeze the shampoo and soap bottles before closing. This will allow the air to expand as it gets hot. Otherwise the contents may leak.
Do not open a window while driving unless you really like dusting.
We now run the TT air conditioning from the generator while driving to avoid all those problems and save the 3 or 4 hours it takes to cool down the TT once we stop for the night.
