They aren't paying to haul it all the way from California to Indiana to put a plate over the crack. The person I spoke with said they take the sheet metal under the overhang off and add some bracing to the frame then fix the crack. How they fix it I don't know but others that have had the same issue with this model said they couldn't tell there was ever a crack there after the repair.
