We have the factory maceator pump on our Talon and love it. No more trying to get real close to the dump pipe. The nozzle fits right into the pipe and is already attached so no messing with dirty, wet hoses after the tanks are drained. One thing to watch out for is when the tanks are empty, be sure to shake out the hose to the drain before discunnecting cause there will be left over water in the hose.
What has me slightly concerned is how to drain the maceator system for winterising. Since there is a good 12 feet of hose attached to the bottom of my trailer, the hose won’t fully drain. So, it looks like I’ll have to buy 5 gallons of antifreeze this fall to make sure I get all the water out of the pump and hose.
The hose on ours is a 2” hose and that works just fine for dumping.
