You are correct . If you want a quality 5th wheel like the old carriage was with improvements . You need to look at the Lifestyle. In fact when Lifestyle factory opened up they had hired the workers and engineers from the original Carriage factory. All Crossroad did was buy the name so it could not be used by the new factory. I have a 2006 Carriage 5th wheel. I spent 3 years looking at 5th wheels and marking them off my list. I had enough money to do it right the first time . So I was looking for a quality 5th wheel. That would last me . Carraige was one of the 3 that was on my list.
