The other side of autonomous driving is that when medical reasons take your license away you’ll be able to keep your independence. Just jump in the car and say “take me to Walmart” or “the hospital” or wherever.

We have full self drive (beta) on our car. It’s probably a few years away from being a level 5 autonomous system like that but it’s actually not far off. We like it. Mostly voice control. Kinda cool.

It’s not a bad thing but a lot of people probably only look at it as a thing that is there if they want to use vs the whole system changing and it won’t include RVing. It would be far safer saving hundreds of thousands of lives each year and billions in care. It’s a system that wouldn’t include me driving a 1 ton diesel truck with a FW and a utility trailer behind it carrying two quads and two dirt bikes so we can ride around in the desert
It’s sort of energy intensive lol
