I don't know why anyone in Australia would want to import a trailer manufactured in the U.S. Work ethics and quality have diminished considerably. It is us who should be importing Australian made trailers. Much better designed and most likely much better quality, at least from those and other previous pictures of different models.
Big problem with US RV's and even Automobiles, quality issues. Over the years many have failed to sell here, RV's have unsuitable designs as well.
I don't know what the import tax situation is there, now, but I remember that, at one point, import taxes on new cars was 100% and they were =required= to be changed to RH drive. Read a story about a guy who bought a new '84 Corvette that went through that. The article I read stated that the locals would buy imports because OZ-built cars of the time were junk, since there was zero incentive to make anything decent. What's it like today?

Lyle, the Australian Cars improved dramatically, but US cars have become " Chinese imports" in quality. There was a class action against Jeep not long ago.
Probably not aware that Australian production of cars will end, this is not related to producing bad products( in fact many local models have become" Icons") As a result of changing demand, FTA's , stifled export opportunities(exception being Toyota) local production has become non viable.
Ford Australia is now becoming Ford's design and testing Centre for non US Pickups and Cars. Ford is pouring a lot of money into it's expansion
Holden Commodore was the top selling sedan for 11 yrs straight despite the Japanese , Korean and European competition. Still selling well.
