While I agree that nothing is free, there is also always time to add a little something to "sweeten the deal" all the way up till you are ready to sign paperwork. I threw my sales guy a slight curve after we had the "out the door" final price quoted. I told him that the price was pretty good, but wasn't quite good enough. I told him that since we where brand new and had zero RV'n gear, the 50 dollar gift card they offered wouldn't get us nearly enough, so I told them to get me parts / accessories store credit of 1k for all that "fluff" -- chairs, awning mat, leveling blocks. He told me no one had ever asked for that before and he had to get approval from his boss. 5 minutes later where where signing the deal.
Yes, I could have gotten that 1k worth of stuff cheaper at CW, but we compared most of the prices and the small difference was well worth driving out the dealer ready to camp.
