I will tell you a few things why you might want to look around more ,I have 2 friends with GD Solitudes and they are nice good looking RV's and I like them BUT for that money why would you buy an RV with less features than the competition for the same price, Grand Designs STILL has 10in frames Everybody else has 12in frames, they have NO central Vac,No rear nice Cap,CHEAP Furrion TV and DVD Surround VS Sony or Samsung home systems, cheaper suspension Equaflex Vs Moryde 4100 ,cheaper pin box Rotoflex vs better Moryde, No ceiling fan, cheaper appliances, No Wisper quiet A/C just to name a few....IMO keep looking at the important things , a Montana Legacy, Cedar Creek,Jayco Pinnacle,Heartland Big Horn,Evergreen Bayhill etc.. gives you more for the money and you folks with GD's can challenge me all you want I know them well but facts are facts the features you have on your Solitudes is on other brands Mid-luxury models
That is interesting. I am still VERY new to this so alot of those things I know nothing about. My biggest issue is the floorplan. Most of the luxury type 5W do not offer any type of bunk or even adequate sleeping for my family (bighorn, pinnacle I know don't) unless I did a front living den floor plan. I LOVE FL floor plans, but that leaves hubby and I having to sit in kitchen, outside or in our bedroom once the kids go to bed. That is why I really liked that they included an additional small living area (typical bunk living) for just him and I to have once the kids go to bed. I have looked at just about everything I can think of and haven't found anything close to it except the Open Range roamer 376. I am still going to look and will be looking up what you talked about as like I said, I don't know what to look for and whats better than the next with that type of stuff. Thanks.
Could you give me some more ideas, bc I just checked and none of them had anything except Montana mid bunk. Bayhill has one that has been discontinued too. Thanks
