I am confused when you talk about extra liiving space to use when kids go to bed?
I had a big horn Silverado, very similar lay out except it ha a second door into half bath and outdoor kitchen. 41' long with gen set and I pulled with a Srw f350 with no issues.
We downsized to a 37' GD reflection 323bhs, lost second bath but the living space is incredible. Quality so far is far superior to heartland.
We lived in the big horn for a year while remodeling a house and still felt the back bunk house was a huge waste of space.
