Thinking about a TH for full-time
As crazy as it seems, the wife and I are tired of the "rat race". We live in a 2800sf house and only use a couple of rooms. Our eldest son is away in the Navy and our youngest will graduate this year....

On the same page. Getting rid of stuff by the truck-load, where did it all come from? Wife and I often talk about how we could live in our TH. Rated as a 26, but actually about 31' 6" long. Tight fit in some places, if we are heading into the woods.
I really liked your 'legacy' statement: "My eldest son already warned me to prepare to spend a couple of weeks of "pappa" time each summer; the same way we always let them spend part of each summer with their grandparents RVing."
My son already lives full time in his motorhome, he downsized several years ago. He is considering a property purchase, big enough that we could live on opposite ends of the property, when necessary, and travel when we want. He is looking at setting up a hard shop and an RV port, or just parking the Foretravel and using that as the fixed residence, with a smaller RV for traveling.
