Yesterday my vanpool was messed up and I drove one of my coworkers in my dually across town to our meeting spot. He was amazed when I parked it between the lines like an actual human.
He pointed to a couple of other long-bed SRWs (not even duallies) and asked, "How come those other {people} take up multiple spaces?"
"Because they're lazy {people}."
It's not hard to drive. It's not hard to park. It's just expensive to drive (thus the vanpool).
